| lifewords April 23, 2011 I pray you are celebrating the power of the cross and also the reality of His resurrection today. I love John 11:25. It is such good news. These are the Words of our Savior. "I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in Me, yet shall He live..." This must be real to us! Let's determine to rejoice and praise our King this day and every day of this next year. I love these verses from 1 Peter on this Easter weekend celebration. What HOPE we have in Him! Whatever our temporary trials and circumstances, we have reason to rejoice! Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him and on His eternal purposes. Its ALL for His glory! He is RISEN! amy. 1 Peter 1:3-7 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuiness of your faith, --more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire-- may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. |
