Jesus is the Word

Dear one,

The Lord calls you His beloved isn't that great news? I prayed for you today. If you are receiving this email you are on a  very special list of precious people that we intercede for by name each morning. Today's "lifewords" are on the matchless name of Jesus.  Oh that wonderful Name of our wonderful, faithful, living Savior. I pray these words will encourage you and strengthen you and refresh you. All is well.  If you know someone who would like to receive "lifewords" send me their email and I will  gladly add them to the list.  Love, Amy

. Jesus is the Word.

Spending time in the Word is spending time with Him.
He is so precious and awesome.  Our Savior and Redeemer,
Our Lord, Our High Priest, Our Deliverer,
the Lover of our Soul,
the Name above all names,
the Author and the Finisher,
the Beginning and the End
Just saying His Name brings His presence!
He instructed his disciples to pray in His Name.  In His name is all authority.
When you pray to the Father in His Name, you have authority over the enemy.
You can just lift your hands right now and say Jesus. . . I love you.
I worship you.   Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.
He is worthy of all our heart of adoration and worship.
Just mentioning His Name brings His presence.
His Name is no ordinary Name.
All the power of God has been invested in the Name of Jesus
and that Name has been given to the Church, to us.
Jesus said pray to the Father in MY NAME.
He said that we were to minister to the sick IN HIS NAME
we are to go forth in HIS NAME.
Remember the account of Peter in Acts 4:7,8,10?
"... By what sort of power or by what kind of authority
do such people as you do this healing?"
"Then Peter....said to them.... Let it be known and understood by all of you.... that in the Name and through the power and authority
of Jesus Christ of Nazareth...
this man is standing here before you well and sound in body."
Apart from Him we can do nothing,
but all things are possible when a yielded vessel trusts in the Name of Jesus.
And we must remember every day
the Great Commission that our Lord has given each of us.
That Great Commission to preach the gospel and bring His love to the world can only be accomplished in His Name.
There is power in the wonderful Name of Jesus.
He desires to redeem us, help us, transform us, deliver us, heal us
bless us, mold us and dwell in us so that we can bring Him
 to all those around us.
I'm so thankful for our precious Lord today, and His wonderful NAME.
Speak His name. Call apon His name.  Pray in His Name.
Worship and lift up His Name. Yield to His Name.
Proclaiming His Name with faith and reverence will bring His presence in your life and into your situation.
Remember this: Jesus is the Name above every name that is named.
He is Lord over all.
So rejoice today beloved one.

Worship

worship

Hi beloved of the Lord, its an awesome Monday and I prayed for YOU this morning! If you know anyone who would like to be added to the list to receive these daily lifewords and be prayed for, please send me their name and email and I will be happy to add them. Today's lifewords are on worship..... a few more words than usual but worth the time!

Wow! I was reading in Rev. 4 today about John being taken into heaven and having a revelation of the worship of our glorious Lord there. Can you imagine this? While he was taken up in the Spirit, he beheld the One sitting on the Throne.  He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. Around the throne were 24 thrones with 24 elders sitting, clothed in white with golden crowns. And from the throne proceed flashes of lightning, sounds and peals of thunder!  Seven lamps of were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. A sea of glass like crystal was in front of the throne; around the throne were 4 living creatures, one like a lion, one like a calf, one with the face of a man, a fourth like a flying eagle. Each had six wings, full of eyes all around and within.  Day and night they do not cease to say. "Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come." And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders  fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and  worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, "Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they exist, and were created." Awesome!!!!!!!!

So all morning I've been thinking of this glorious, magnificent scene of worship! My heart has been drawn into a new level of worshipping Him once again. We must remember that we were created to worship our Lord as a lifestyle. I believe we must learn to truly worship God.  In church, yes! But day by day! Loving Him, adoring Him. Giving thanks to Him for all.  Praising Him for who He is. Worshipping Him in the beauty of holiness. Think of how David danced before the Lord as he was bringing the ark back.  Every few cubits, he would stop and offer a sacrifice of worship.  I mean radical worship. He danced. He lifted his voice. He lifted his hands. He sacrificed another animal!  He was so radical about his worship that his wife got embarrassed about him and did not understand. She mocked His expression of worship. The Lord was not pleased with dear Michal. Oh how He delights in and responds to our full expression of love and adoration.  David was carrying the Ark, which held the presence of God.  What would happen if we, as containers of His presence today, stopped every few feet along our journey to worship Him!  We would truly be aware of Him continually! Do you think He would take notice? Something to consider in these times in which we are living.

A precious gal said to me at church, I can't wait to be able to worship God today when the music starts, I've been waiting all week. I was so happy she was thrilled to worship and guess what it's even better..... We don't have to wait from Sunday to Sunday!!!!! We are free to worship Him! Dear ones, worship was never meant to be something we do on Sunday only. It is meant to be a lifestyle, our continual heart cry to our Lord. Get up early just to worship Him. Lift your hands often and begin to worship Him.  In your car, worship Him with your words, your whole heart.  If you run out of words, get out the Psalms and worship with David's words.  These are the words of a worshipper!

What if every day we meet with God in worship? Worship Him out loud. Worship Him in silence. Make yourself worship when you don't feel like it. He is worthy always. Worship Him every day and night. Make worshipping God something  you and your family do regularly. Hang around radiacal people who love to worship God and then join together and do it often! When you are along, lift your hands to the Lord and say I love you Jesus. I worship you.  I'm so thankful Lord.  Thank You for giving me life, for rescuing me. Thank You for making me Your child.  Thank You for being with me and never leaving me. Thank You for forgiving me.  Thank You for Your Creation. I praise you because You are my Redeemer today. You are my Provider today. You are with me today. You are my Victory today. Jesus I worship you.  You are my Healer today. You are my All in All. You are my Peace today. You love me with an everlasting love. You are Holy. You are Worthy.  Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and Who is and Who is to come.  I worship you my Lord.  I love You. I adore You. I worship You.  Its like that......from your heart.  If we ever really want to please God in our lives, we must be worshippers. He is so worthy!!! He is our Creator and our Almighty God. He is the Beginning and the End, the Author and Finisher. He is magnificent and lovely.  He is Faithful and True.  He is our Soon and Coming King. He is the Lord of Lords, the Lord of Heaven and Earth. He is High and lifted up.

Just begin to worship Him right now.  Sometimes you will do it by faith, not really feeling anything but just worshipping Him because He is worthy. Other times, His presence will begin to overtake you and bless you as you see Him as He truly is.  He is looking for worshippers who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and He delights to be with them. He delights to reveal things to them more than a person just going through the motions of Christianity.  You want to be an intimate lover of God. You want to live in that secret place of His presence. Then, be a worshipper and worship Him with all your heart throughout the days. Pull away, just to worship Him. Make appointments with Him, just to worship Him. Throughout every day and night let these words be heard on your lips even by those around you....I worship you Jesus. I love you. Oh, I worship you my Lord.  While everyone is asleep, put on your favorite worship cd and worship him.   If you have an instrument, worship Him with it. If you don't, worship Him with your voice.  Worship quietly or loud. Worship however you want to worship, but do it lavishly. You don't need training, you don't need experience, just give Him your whole heart in worship. You will know Him, and He will know you. You will learn to be very familiar with His leading.

Oh that we would love Him well and worship Him well! He is so worthy! All of creation will cry out in worship of the One True Living God our Lord and King and Master. Let's not wait till heaven!  Draw near now. When we truly see Him, we will fall down and worship Him. It is not about us, it is all about HIM.

YOU ARE HIS BELOVED!

AMY

God's Word is alive

lifewordslifewordslifewords 6.27.10
 Dear Family,
Its a beautiful Sunday.  Our Lord is worthy of all our praise.
I just never get tired of Psalm 1! This is you! I prayed for you today. I pray you are delighting in God's Word day and night, day and night, day and night.

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,  nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the  seat of scoffers!   But his delight is in the law of the Lord.  And in His law he meditates day and night.  He will be like a tree planted  by rivers of water which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither;  and in whatever he does, he prospers.

I  was noticing something really cool about God's Word
in the Book of Acts.
We know God's Word is alive.  It is His living Word.
It is able to build up, transform, divide.
And in Acts it's so interesting to see that
the Word of God was increasing
Then it speaks of the Word of God multiplying
And  it also refers to the Word of God prevailing.
Think about those words in relation to  renewing our mind and delighting in God's Word like the person referred to in Psalm 1.
I believe that the Word can increase in our mind as we spend time in it, meditate on it and obey it daily.
As we study the Word,
the Holy Spirit can cause it to multiply
so that it becomes more real  to us than our circumstances.
Lately I've been noticing that the more time I spend in God's Word,
it is literally beginning to prevail in my mind.
By this I mean that I have more scripture verses flowing through my mind than natural thoughts.
Instead of thinking about situations,
limitations, trials,or doubts,
the Word of God is displacing these
and  the Lord is filling me  with faith, joy, peace and love.
God's living Word is awesome! I pray it is increasing, multiplying and prevailing in your mind and in your life.
You are His beloved, never forget it.
You can be sure I will be praying for you in the morning when it
is still dark! amy

Your Shepherd loves you

6.26.10
Today is a brand new day of God's grace and love. His mercies are new every morning! Prayed for you this day. You are His beloved one.

Take a deep breath, Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and He is your Good Shepherd! What a comforting truth. He watches over you today. He cares for you today.     He leads you  and guides you today. He carries you if you need carrying today.  He keeps away the parasites and predators today. He loves you! Do not fear, all is well. He will never leave you.  Here is Psalm 23 to encourage you.  Read it out loud and slowly, all of it! And apply it to your life now.  He is faithful and His Word is true.

Psalm  23

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness, for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil, for you are with me;

Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

It is a great day because Psalm 23 is true!

Psalm 32:8 is another Shepherd scripture:

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;

I will guide you with my eye.

Proverbs 3:5,6 is good to be reminded of every single day:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding,

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

All is well this Saturday.  Meditate on these living Words of Life in God's Word throughout the day. Your Shepherd loves you.

Wisdom

lifewordslifewordslifewords
6.25.10

Dear Family,

Prayed for you this morning. Today's LifeWords topic is Wisdom! Get Wisdom today, and with all your getting, get understanding!!!!
wisdom
James 1:5 is a wonderful promise for us today.

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,

Who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting,

For the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,

being a double minded man, unstable in all his ways. "

Awesome!  We can ask for wisdom from our God......all of us can ask!

And it will be given to us.

Like many of God's promises, there is a condition to our asking.

We must ask IN FAITH, WITHOUT ANY DOUBTING.

Just like a little child asking his Dad for help with, childlike faith,

confident that his Dad WILL give him his request.

Faith is crucial. Believing is crucial.

I sure don't want to be a double minded person, unstable in all my ways.

We can receive the wisdom of God today.  Thank you Lord for wisdom!

It pleases God when we ask for wisdom.

He says wisdom is the principle thing.

Wisdom is not something that just falls out of the sky to God's children.

We must not only ask for it, we must seek for it, pursue it, acquire it.

Getting wisdom involves a lot of verbs. Remember verbs are action words?

Acquiring wisdom involves asking, seeking, watching, crying out, finding, pursuing, studying. We find God's Wisdom by spending time in His Word, day and night. and day and night. and day and night.

Proverbs is the great Wisdom book of the Bible.

Proverbs 4:5 says we are to "Acquire wisdom!  Acquire understanding!

Prize her, and she will exalt you.

She will honor you if you embrace her.  She will place on your head a garland of grace;

She will present you with a crown of beauty."

Proverbs 7:4 says we are to say to Wisdom, "You are my sister,"

and call Understanding our intimate friend.

The wisdom of God is like a person who wants to dwell with us.

Proverbs 8 says, "Wisdom calls!!" Wisdom is imploring us..... Find me!  Find understanding!  Wisdom is personified in Proverbs 8. ........

"I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.

Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates.

Waiting at my doorposts. For he who finds Me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord." Wisdom is amazing! Diligence goes a long way in regard to growing in wisdom.
Proverbs 2 exhorts us to" make our ear attentive to wisdom,

Incline our heart to understanding. Cry for discernment. Lift our voice for understanding; Seek her as silver. Search for her as for hidden treasure.

Then we will discern the fear of the Lord, and discover the knowledge of God.

For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding."

Wisdom's profit is better than silver and gold. Wisdom is more precious than jewels. Nothing on earth compares with her.

Long life in her right hand; in her left are riches and honor. (4:14-19)

Wisdom is God's desire for us. Wisdom should be our very best friend. We must seek after Wisdom. We must ask for Wisdom.  We must pursue Wisdom in the Word of God.

We definately don't want to be among those who are naive, loving simplicity, haters of knowledge, refusers of God's Word, neglecters of His counsel, foolish, not paying attention, wise in our own eyes.
No No No!
We want Your Wisdom Lord!  We want to be people of Understanding!

Wisdom and Understanding will bring amazing blessing to our lives

and in the lives of our families and to this world.

No one who desires it is exempt from receiving the Wisdom of God.

Yay! Stay diligent in God's Word.

The wisdom of God is limitless and it is  available to you today.

Never forget how loved you are!
