Create in us a pure heart, Oh God!!!!!! He will answer this sincere prayer. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." Matthew 5. He delights in His pure hearted children, who love to be with Him and obey Him and act like Him. Did you know that His eyes search to and fro throughout the whole Earth for those whose hearts are perfect toward Him? He wants all of our heart. He's not searching for a person who is perfect, but whose heart is willfully submitted to Him. Not a person who does everything well, not a person who is the smartest, not a person who has tremendous giftings, but He searches for the person whose heart is perfect toward Him. Today we can pray David's prayer in Psa 19:14 "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer." This moment let's ask the Holy Spirit to search our hearts, reveal to us what He wants to change, and then allow Him to transform our hearts into the pureness that delights Him. He wants to dwell in our hearts.
Every day is a new day to have a pure heart toward God. A life well lived for God is simply a collection many days of choosing to live with a pure heart toward Him. This day we can choose to love Him with all of our heart and soul and mind and strength. This day we can choose humility and obedience and loving Him. This day we can resist sin by the power of the Holy Spirit. If we do sin, we can repent and receive His forgiveness and grace and victory. This day we can say yes to His Word. Lord, this day Lord I am desperately in love with you and I submit to your will for my life! Create in me a pure heart to love You. By His grace we can do this today! Each day's decision will result in a pattern of pure hearted days for our King. So let's be glad today. Whatever is going on, whatever our failures, whatever our fears, whatever our frailty, we can ask the Lord to create a pure heart in us and we can submit our hearts to Him. That is why David said that we can be glad! Psa 32:11 says, "Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!" Lord, we give you our hearts this day. This is what He is calling the Body of Christ to and He wants us to be set apart, pure hearted and united with each other. He is calling His pure hearted ones to arise as His Bride, with one heart, all for His glory. There is a scripture in Eze 11:19 which talks about the new heart the Lord gives us. I believe this refers to the new heart we receive at the new birth, but also His orchestration of the pure heart of His Bride, His Body in this hour. Eze 11:19 "And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh." He is committed to do this in His Bride. Today, let our hearts be fixed on Him. Let's love Him with all of our hearts and do Psalm 86:12 on purpose. "I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever." Yes Yes Yes!!
Be encouraged today! You are loved with an everlasting love. Be filled with Him and touch every life you encounter today with His love. Do the Great Commission today. Our Lord gave us the instructions, they are still the same!!!!! Touch lives, share the gospel, pray for the sick, love people, pray for people, pray for strong marriages and families, pray for God's church, pray for America, pray for Israel, pray for the nations and those champion missionaries who are invading the darkness there. Pray for the missionaries continually. Pray for the persecuted church and remember those in chains. Your effectual fervent praying is availing much. The Holy Spirit is your Helper today! Rejoice, because you are His and Your name is written in the Book of Life. You are the Redeemed of the Lord and He lives in you!!!!
