Greetings! Oh how our Lord loves you with an everlasting love! Today I pray that He will strengthen you with His strength. Psalm 29:11 declares that, "the Lord gives strength to His people!" He beckons us to draw near to Him for a great exchange...our weakness for His strength, our weariness for His refreshing, our heavy burden for His yoke, which is light and easy to bare. Let's learn the lesson of the branch abiding in the vine, which cannot flourish with fruit unless it is connected. Think about the futility of driving a long journey with no provision for fuel. As you intentionally spend time in meditating on His living Word, and in a lifestyle of prayer, and in worshipping Him, quietly waiting upon Him, He will infuse you with the strength you need for your journey. His strength will engulf your weakness, your weariness, your insufficiencies. Let Isaiah 40:29-31 encourage you greatly, "He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might, He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall utterly fall; but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Apart from Him, we are bankrupt. Come, beloved one, draw near to the All Sufficient One and drink freely of the waters of life. Master the art of waiting on the Lord by continual, daily practice. His strength will enable you to run well today and be fortified for the journey ahead. Let's learn to run our race well in Him so that we can finish strong!
