Seek and you will find!

lifewordslifewordslifewords  08.24.10
 It's a beautiful Tuesday and I prayed for you by name this morning.  Prayer is so powerful!  What a privilege is it to pray for you. Always remember today that you are His beloved, He loves you with an everlasting love. His love for you is lavish, unending and nothing can separate you from His love today!!!!! It's true! Today's lifewords are an exhoration to continue to see after our King. Thank you for reading them. I pray you will be encouraged and blessed and transformed by His living Word. Amy

                                                     Psalm 63 is Awesome Today!

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;

 my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you,

as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

 So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary,

beholding Your power and glory.

Because Your steadfast love is better than life,

my lips will praise You.

So I will bless You as long as I live;

in Your Name I will lift up my hands.

 Oh that we would earnestly, passionately, sincerely pursue our Lord today! As we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. We seek Him in worship, we seek Him in prayer, we seek Him in the quietness of just being in His presence.  Surely, the primary way that we seek Him is in His Word!  If you desire to pursue Him and find Him, He is found in His Word.  He is the living Word!  God's Word is incredible and we should delight in it daily. Thank Him for His matchless, unchanging Word!  I love Jeremiah 29:12.  I know this is a letter written to the exiles in Babylon, but I believe the truth of it is a living Word for us right now. "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me and I will hear you.  You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, declares the Lord." He says He will be found by us when we seek Him with all of our hearts!

Pursue His presence today.  Be desperate for Him.  Never underestimate the power of being a person who is a worshipper. Praise Him with your lips this day. Throughout the day, stop and lift your hands to Him and thank Him. Speak His name. Thank Him for His faithfulness and goodness toward you and your family.  Praise Him for who He is.  Your Savior who rescued you. Your  Redeemer who brought you out of sin and death and darkness, Your Healer, Your Provider, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Author and the Finisher, Your Victory, Your Peace, Your Healer. Think about His Name, the Name above every Name that is named.  Jesus. When you even speak His Name on lips of faith, His presence comes. No matter what is going on in your life today you have a reason to praise the One who loves you with an everlasting Love. If all is going well, Praise Him.  If all is not going well, Praise Him. He inhabits the praise of His people. Enemy forces arrayed against your life are pushed back as you lift your voice of praise.  Thanksgiving will bring you into the gates of finding His presence.  Praise will usher you into His courts.  Sincere Worship and adoration will connect you with His very presence. As you spend time in His Word He will reveal Himself to you. Fellowship with Him throughout this day. Meditate on His Word.  He will  transform you, fill you,  and speak to you concerning His will for you.  Lord, we will bless You as long as we live!

Plan to join us Sept 1 as we read through the gospels, psalms and proverbs Sept.-Dec.!
